Welcome to Dundee Beach Bush Camp! We are delighted to have you as our guest and aim to provide you with a memorable and enjoyable outdoor experience. To ensure the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all our guests, we have established the following terms and conditions. 

 

By making a reservation or utilising any of our facilities, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. These guidelines are designed to maintain a safe, clean, and harmonious environment for everyone. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions or need further clarification. We appreciate your cooperation and wish you a pleasant stay at Dundee Beach Bush Camp.

 

  1. Reservations and Payments

 

Booking Process

– Reservations can be made online through our website. Your reservation will be confirmed once we receive the full payment.

– Please provide accurate contact information when booking to ensure you receive all necessary communications regarding your stay.

 

Payment Terms

– Full payment is required at the time of booking. Bank transfer details will be emailed to you.

– Prices and availability are subject to change without notice. The price at the time of booking is final and will not be adjusted for any subsequent changes in rates.

 

Cancellation and Refund Policy

– Cancellations will incur an admin fee of one night’s booking.

– No refund for cancellations within 48hrs of booking commencing.

  • No refunds for changing your mind on arrival, dirt, dust, heat, bushes, bugs. You need to check the location before you arrive. We are not a caravan park, we are a ‘bush’ camp- there is bush & dirt 🙂

 

No-Show Policy

– If you do not check in by 12 PM the day following your scheduled arrival date and have not contacted us to make alternative arrangements, your reservation will be considered a no-show.

– No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows. Your reservation will be cancelled, and the campsite may be made available to other guests.

 

Changes to Reservations

– Any changes to your reservation, such as dates or number of guests, must be requested at least 7 days prior to your arrival date. Changes are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.

 

  1. Check-In and Check-Out

 

Check-In Time is from 1 PM. Please plan to arrive after this time.

 

Check-Out Time is STRCTLY by 10AM on your departure date.

 

Please ensure you have packed and vacated your campsite by this time to allow us to prepare for incoming guests.

 

Late Check-Out Policy

– Requests for late check-out must be made at least one day in advance. Approval is subject to availability and may incur an additional fee.

– Unauthorised late check-outs will incur a penalty fee equivalent to one night’s stay.

 

Early Departure

– If you choose to leave before your scheduled check-out date, no refunds or credits will be issued for the unused portion of your reservation.

 

Check-Out Procedures

– Before checking out, please ensure that your campsite is left in a clean and tidy condition.

– Dispose of all trash in designated bins, extinguish campfires completely, and return any equipment to its original position. 

 

  1. Campsite Rules

 

Quiet Hours

– Quiet hours are from 9 PM to 7 AM. During this time, please keep noise levels to a minimum to ensure a peaceful environment for all guests.

– Amplified music and loud activities are prohibited during quiet hours.

 

Maximum Occupancy

– Each campsite has a maximum occupancy limit, which includes both overnight campers and no day visitors. Please adhere to this limit to avoid overcrowding and ensure the comfort of all guests.

The maximum occupancy

  • Site 1 – 6 Adults
  • Site 2 – 6 Adults
  • Site 3 – 4 Adults.

 

Visitor Policy

-No visitors are allowed without a prior booking. All guests must have a confirmed reservation.

-Any additional guests must be registered with us before arrival and are subject to the same rules and regulations as all other campers.

 

Use of Campsite Facilities

– Facilities such as toilets, showers, and campsite areas are for registered guests only. Please keep these areas clean and report any damages or issues to staff immediately.

– Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times while using campsite facilities.

 

Campfire and Fire Safety Regulations

– Campfires are permitted only in designated fire drums. Never leave a fire unattended and ensure it is fully extinguished before leaving the area or going to sleep.

– Firewood is available for purchase at the site 3 turn off. Do not gather firewood from on the property.

-No chainsaws to be used on the property.

– The use of fireworks, candles, and other open flames is strictly prohibited.

– Use mozzie coils in the appropriate safe container. DO NOT LEAVE UNATTENDED!

 

Waste Disposal and Recycling

– Please use the designated bins for trash and recycling. Do not leave any waste in the campsite or surrounding areas.

– Help us keep the environment clean by separating recyclables from regular trash and disposing of them in the appropriate bins.

 

Vehicle Policy

– Only one vehicle is allowed per campsite unless prior arrangements have been made. Please notify us of additional vehicles 

– Road rules apply within the property. Please drive slowly and watch for pedestrians, other vehicles and wildlife.

– No riding on the side, top, or back of vehicles.

– No drinking and driving. Violation of this rule will result in immediate expulsion from the campsite.

– Quad bikes and ATV’s are not permitted on the property.

 

  1. Safety and Conduct

 

Safety Regulations

– Follow all posted signs and guidelines throughout the campsite. These are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests.

– Report any safety hazards or concerns to campsite staff immediately.

 

Prohibited Items and Activities

– Firearms, fireworks, and illegal substances are strictly prohibited within the campsite.

– Activities such as vandalism, theft, and disorderly conduct will not be tolerated and may result in immediate expulsion from the campsite without a refund.

– Quad bikes and ATV’s are not permitted on the property

 

Wildlife Interactions

– Do not feed, approach, or disturb wildlife. Keep a safe distance from all animals.

– Secure all food and trash in designated containers to prevent attracting wildlife to your campsite.

– Dogs are to be with you at all times as dingoes are in the area.

 

Alcohol and Drug Policy

– Consumption of alcohol is permitted in moderation at your campsite. Public intoxication and disruptive behaviour are not tolerated.

– Illegal drugs are strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule will result in immediate expulsion from the campsite.

 

Behavior and Conduct

– All guests are expected to behave in a respectful and considerate manner towards other guests, staff, and the environment.

– Any behaviour that disrupts the enjoyment of the campsite for others will not be tolerated. And you will be asked to leave. No refund.

 

Fire Safety

– Open flames are only permitted in designated areas. Do not leave fires unattended, and ensure they are fully extinguished before leaving the area.

– Campfires to only be in designated fire drum.

– Use of portable stoves and grills must be done in a safe manner

– Do NOT leave mozzie coils unattended- they can cause bushfires.

 

Emergency Situations

– In case of an emergency, contact campsite staff immediately & call Emergency services at 000

– There are no medical services at Dundee. You will need to go to town for medical assistance. Please let us know of any incidents.

 

  1. Pets

Pet Policy

– Pets are welcome at Dundee Beach Bush Camp but must be declared at the time of booking. 

– Only domesticated animals such as dogs and cats are permitted. Exotic pets are not allowed.

 

Pet Behavior and Control

– Pets should not be left unattended. Dingoes are in the area.

– Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. 

  • DO NOT tie dogs to trees. Please secure them to your vehicle if required.

 

Liability

– Pet owners are fully responsible for any injuries or damage caused by their pets. The campsite is not liable for any incidents involving pets.

 

  1. Liability and Indemnity

 

Limitation of Liability

– Dundee Beach Bush Camp is not responsible for any injury, loss, or damage to persons or property arising from the use of the campsite facilities and services.

– Guests assume all risks associated with outdoor activities, including but not limited to camping, walking, campfires and wildlife encounters.

 

Indemnity Clause

– Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmless Dundee Beach Bush Camp, its owners, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, expenses, or liabilities arising out of their stay, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, or loss of personal property.

– This indemnification extends to any third parties that the guest may bring onto the campsite premises.

 

Personal Property

– Guests are responsible for securing their personal belongings. The campsite is not liable for any loss, theft, or damage to personal property.

– It is recommended that guests use lockable containers or vehicles to store valuable items.

 

Damage to Campsite Property

– Guests will be held responsible for any damage or loss to campsite property caused by their actions or the actions of their pets, visitors, or invitees.

– The cost of repairs or replacement for damaged property will be charged to the guest who holds the booking.

 

Activities and Equipment

– Guests participating in any activities or using any equipment provided by the campsite do so at their own risk.

– The campsite is not liable for any injuries or accidents resulting from the use of campsite-provided equipment or participation in campsite activities.

 

  1. Emergency Procedures

 

Emergency Contact Information

– In case of emergency, contact campsite staff immediately at 0438 987 498 0r 0428 728 549. For medical emergencies, dial 000 or proceed to the nearest hospital or medical facility.

 

Emergency Evacuation Plan

– Follow all instructions provided by campsite staff in the event of an emergency evacuation.The muster point is the front entry gate located on Koonakara Rd.

 

Medical Assistance

– For serious medical emergencies, notify campsite staff immediately for assistance and contact emergency services if needed. There is no medical assistance in Dundee Beach. The closest medical facility is Palmerston hospital.

– Provide clear directions to emergency responders to ensure they can locate your campsite quickly and easily.

 

Natural Disasters

– In the event of severe weather or natural disasters, such as storms or bushfires, follow instructions from campsite staff regarding evacuation procedures and shelter locations.

– Stay informed about local weather conditions and heed any warnings or advisories issued by local authorities.

 

Communication

– Ensure your mobile phone is fully charged and has service coverage.  It is TELSTRA only at Dundee. Keep emergency contact numbers readily accessible.

– Stay updated on campsite announcements and emergency alerts through campsite communication channels.

 

Personal Safety

– Always prioritise your personal safety and the safety of others during emergencies. Remain calm and assist others as needed while following established emergency protocols.
